Parents & Carers

Twinkle Stars take pride in working closely with Parents and Carers of the Nursery.

Working closely with Parents/Carers of the nursery is important to provide a positive experience for the children. Twinkle Stars has some key practices to keep connected, in addition to many informal methods such as weekly emails, online observations and photos, newsletters, coffee mornings, social evenings, social media, and more!

Parents Committee

A voluntary group of parents/carers that support the nursery in many ways voicing feedback, sharing ideas, co-leading event planning such as fundraisers.

Communication Book

Traditional Montessori method of communication with parents is via a Communication Book. The child’s key person notes down important information on your child (whether your child had a nap, how long, did your child have a nappy change etc.) Staff may close attention to the wellbeing of the children and take the time to write informative messages to parents.

Workshops

Providing external speakers and trainers to offer educative workshops to the parents/carers of the nursery. Examples include First Aid for Parents, GP run sessions on what illnesses to look out for in children.

Online Daily Diary and Journal

Upon registering, you will receive log in details to your online diary where you can see updates regarding your child

What Parents Think

Ali Mahdi was very happy and settled at TSMN, he has now started reception and has adjusted very well to his new big school. TSMN has provided Ali Mahdi with a great start to his educational journey, they are very caring and nurturing exactly what you need for a young child. I was always reassured that my children would be safe and well taken care of, which for me was a very important factor when choosing a nursery.
